Ivan Polyak holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from S.R.University and an MBA from Thunderbird School of International Management, USA. Ivan was trained in executive education programmes at INSEAD Business School in France and Said Business School at the University of Oxford in the UK.

Career

2019

Since September 10, 2019 - General Director of Veropharm. Prior to that, he was Senior Director for Commercial Development, Strategy and Sales of Abbott's drug division at the company's head office.

2024: Appointment as Head of Novartis Russian Division

Ivan Polyak headed the Russian division of Novartis. This became known in January 2024, but Polyak became the general director of Novartis Pharma LLC on November 1, 2023, the company said.

Ivan Polyak became the head of the Novartis business in the Russian Federation instead of Natalya Kolerova, who moved to another position within the group in the European region.

It is noted that Ivan Polyak has more than 20 years of experience in managing the largest international healthcare companies in the United States, Asia and Europe. Ivan has deep expertise in new product launches, lifecycle management, commercial efficiency, and market research. The Pole is fluent in five languages, including Russian and English.^[1]
