Zhazel Jean's career path in the IT sphere began in 2021 from the position of a tester in the insurance company Susan Garant, where she got on the recommendation of the career center of Nazarbayev University. In a short time, she went from a tester to a system analyst and product manager, transferring the processes of selling automotive insurance policies to an online format.

At Freedom Bank, Jazelle Jean came to the position of product manager, where she started developing a banking superapp. Three months later, she received a promotion to head of the financial ecosystem department, and then took the post of director of the project digitalization department, demonstrating high management qualities and the ability to achieve the goals. Under the leadership of Jazelle Jean, a team of 30 specialists, including product managers, designers, testers and content managers, successfully launched Freedom SuperApp. In the first month of operation, the application attracted more than 100 thousand users, of which 30% were new customers of the bank.

2025: Freedom Bank Chief information officer Appointment

24-year-old Jazelle Jean has been appointed director of the Freedom Bank project digitalization department, becoming the youngest leader of this level in the history of the bank. This became known on January 13, 2025.

Jazelle Jean, Director of the Freedom Bank Project Digitalization Department, stressed that the key factors in successful management are a deep understanding of the business, an adequate assessment of resources and a high level of empathy. According to her, it is important for the manager to find a balance between the requirements of top management and the needs of employees to prevent professional burnout of the team.

Freedom Bank notes a tendency to appoint young specialists to senior positions - many managers are about the same age as Jazelle Jean, and some timlids in the development team are even younger than her. Education in the field of scientific mathematics at Nazarbayev University helped to develop not only analytical skills and critical thinking, but also the psychological stability necessary for leadership work.^[1]
