Jan Stolyar was born on Friday, June 13, 1975. In 1998 finished SPBGTU (Polytechnical institute), the faculty of an engineering cybernetics, in 2007 – received MBA degree at the Stockholm school of economy in St. Petersburg. From 1998 to 2006 was an employee of PeterStar Ltd (nowadays OJSC MegaFon) where there passed the way from the sales representative on data services to the marketing director. From 2006 to 2012 took positions of the director of business development and development director of a brand in Expert-System company ("Devexperts"). During the entire period of professional activity actively was engaged in implementation of data transmission technologies, video surveillances, in promotion of image of the Russian software developers in the world market. Travels, is fond of the photo, has experience in aikido and mountain skiing.

In AstroSoft company in the summer of 2012 the Commercial directorate which was headed by Jan Stolyar is created. Divisions which are engaged in analytics, advertizing and PR, primary sales were its part. Optimization of a business activity of the company was Jan Stolyar's task in AstroSoft. It included analytical works, online and offline promotion, sales, an after-sale customer support from the commercial point of view, the analysis of customer interaction at all stages and some other aspects. It was planned that these structural changes will allow to increase efficiency of all business processes connected with promotion of company services and work with clients.
