Biography
Igor was born on October 13, 1961 in Kharkov.
From the age of 11 he played football professionally.
In 1978 he entered the Faculty of Mathematics of the Kharkov Higher Military Engineering Command School.
In 1993 he defended his thesis. Candidate of Technical Sciences.
From 1993 to 1999, he was engaged in scientific activities at the Research Institute of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
He worked as a junior researcher, deputy head of the department of scientific and technical control over the development of special-purpose software.
In 1983, he was assigned to work at the computing center of the Trans-Baikal Military District.
From 1978 to 2005 he served in the Armed Forces of the USSR and the Russian Federation.
From 1999 to 2005, he took part in the development of regulatory legal acts, governing documents in the field of certification and testing of information protection tools in the State Technical Commission of Russia. The most memorable is the guidance document on monitoring the absence of bookmarks in the software. According to these documents, for the first time in Russia, foreign and domestic operating systems, databases and other software complexes were certified and adopted for operation.

In 2005, he co-founded the Scientific and Testing Institute of Integrated Security Systems LLC (NII SOKB), a share in the authorized capital of 26%. The company is engaged in developments in the field of information security of industrial facilities.
Customers - corporate structures where oil and gas facilities, transport and energy infrastructure facilities are operated, etc.
As of March 16, 2018, Igor Alekseevich Kalaida works as general director of LLC NII SOKB.
