Kalinovsky Alexander Mikhailovich
Biography
Alexander Kalinovsky graduated from Stony Brook University in New York in 1995 with a degree in Electrical Engineering.
In 1996-1998 worked as an IT manager at Soyuzkontrakt, the largest supplier of imported food to Russia in the 90s.
For more than 12 years he worked in the international divisions of HSBC Bank, where he joined in 2004, starting as an IT manager/project manager. Since 2015, Kalinovsky has been responsible for developing HSBC's transactional and online business technology platforms.
In 2016, he moved to the international consulting company Wipro Digital, where for three years he headed the engineering practice and was responsible for advising international corporations on technological transformations, the introduction of innovative technologies and flexible development methods.
2019: IT Director at Home Credit Bank
In June 2019, Alexander Kalinovsky was appointed Information Technology Director of Home Credit Bank. He will also sit on the bank's steering committee.
While working at Wipro Digital, he resided in New York City. Moving to a new place of work, Kalinovsky moved to Moscow
The primary task of the new Chief information officer of Home Credit Bank is to further reduce time to market so that the bank can quickly bring innovative products and services to the market for customers. To do this, it is planned to develop the Agile approach to the development of DevOps products, practices and tools and transfer the architecture to a microservice basis.

Kalinovsky replaced Sergei Shcherbakov, who had held it since 2017, as IT director. Shcherbakov left Home Credit Bank in June 2019, he decided to continue his career outside the company, the bank told TAdviser.
