Education

Igor graduated from economics department of the Mordovian State University, got additional education at the leading business schools.

Career

Since 2003 Igor directed functions of business development, marketing, the investment management in such large companies as Transmashholding Ltd, SIBUR-Russian Tyres, ROSATOM State Corporation.

From 2013 to 2016 worked as the chief executive of Skolkovo Foundation.

Is the expert in the field of development of technology startups in the field of IT and mechanical engineering.

2020: Appointment as the interim CEO of Management system

On March 3, 2020 Ruselectronics, reported that Igor Karavayev is appointed the interim CEO of JSC Sistemy upravleniya - management company of a division of automated control systems of Ruselectronics holding of State Corporation Rostec. The relevant decision was made by Board of Directors of society. The previous head Sergey Dorofeyev will supervise questions GOZ and qualities in the company.

Igor Karavayev has wide managerial experience in the industry and IT.

14 enterprises at which about 11 thousand people work are a part of the ACS division for March, 2020. Revenue based on 2019 made about 20 billion rubles.

The main activity of a division is creation of automated control systems of varying complexity and also automation of the existing managerial functions at the different levels, including federal executive authorities of the Russian Federation.

The main objective of JSC Sistemy upravleniya - ensuring needs of the state and the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in the modern systems, complexes and management tools. Organization activity is directed to formation of an effective system of the public and military administration taking into account problems of development of modern management tools and communication, IT technologies.
