The Lenovo company announced in November, 2013 Alexander Katayev's appointment to a position of the general manager of Lenovo in Russia[1].
On this post Katayev will be focused on problems of development and business management, gain of positions of the company in consumer and commercial segments, improvement of key operational and financial performance.
Alexander Katayev is 34 years old, he joined Lenovo in September, 2010. In April, 2011 held a position of the Head of Department of consumer products in Russia. In this position he was responsible for sales of a product line of Lenovo Idea to distributors and retail partners.
Katayev has more than 10-year experience in the IT industry. Before work in Lenovo he took different positions in HP and Sony, and began the career way to Coca-Cola. Graduated from the Tomsk state university of management systems and radio electronics, faculty of the electronic equipment. He is married, the father of two daughters, is fond of fishing.
