Biography

Stanislav Kazarin was born in 1972 in Kuibyshev.

He graduated from Samara State Aerospace University with a degree in Mathematics Engineer.

He began his career as a software engineer at ArtLog NPF, worked as the head of the informatization department of the executive authorities of the administration of the Governor of the Samara Region, in Samara IT companies.

Since 2008, he served as head of the department for the formation of electronic government of the Samara region of the department of state administration of the apparatus of the government of the Samara region.

Since January 1, 2011, he worked as Deputy Prime Minister of the Samara Region - Head of the Information Technology and Communications Department of the Samara Region. The Department manages in the field of information technology, communications, telecommunications, information security and ensuring the protection of personal data, the development of the information society and the formation of e-government, coordinates the activities of the executive authorities of the Samara region in this area. Also in his area of ​ ​ responsibility are programs for the formation of electronic government, the creation of a high-tech technopark "Zhigulevskaya Dolina," the transition to the provision of state and municipal services in electronic form.

In December 2019, Stanislav Kazarin left the Department of Information Technologies and Communications of the Samara Region. In the same month, the Governor of St. Petersburg, by his order, appointed Kazarin Chairman of the Committee on Informatization and Communications of St. Petersburg. He took up duties on December 20.

As chairman of the committee on informatization and communications of St. Petersburg, Kazarin replaced Denis Chamara, who went to work at the Ministry of Digital Development as an adviser to the minister.

Stanislav Kazarin himself, commenting on his appointment, called his own technological independence of the city and the need to make St. Petersburg a "regulatory sandbox," a territory on which new technologies can be experimentally used, including the security of cyberphysical systems.
