2025: Appointment as CEO of Lavochkin NGO
In mid-February 2025, Dmitry Yaremenko, General Director of the S. A. Lavochkin Scientific and Production Association (NPO), was removed from his post. In his place came the former deputy Oleg Kem, who previously oversaw the creation and operation of automatic space complexes in the company.
The press service of Roscosmos notes that the current personnel decisions "are aimed at adapting the composition of the management team to the current goals and objectives of the industry." They added that a short-term labor contract was signed with the new head of the S. A. Lavochkin NGO. At the same time, specific deadlines were not disclosed.
The change of the head of the NGO named after S. A. Lavochkin took place a few days after a new general director, Dmitry Bakanov, was appointed in Roscosmos. He replaced several deputies and heads of Roscosmos structures.
The S. A. Lavochkin NGO, headed by Oleg Kem, is one of the leading Russian enterprises in the development and production of space technology. The main activities of Lavochkin's NGO include:
