In 1996 he graduated from the Novosibirsk State Medical Institute (NGMU) with a degree in medical medicine.
Career
1997
Konstantin Khalzov began his career as a surgeon in 1997 in the first surgical department of the Novosibirsk Municipal Clinical Emergency Hospital No. 2.
2006-2008
Since 2006, he served as deputy chief physician for medical affairs - transfusiologist.
In October 2008, he was appointed chief physician of the Novosibirsk Blood Center. Khalzov also worked as the chief freelance transfusiologist of the Ministry of Health of Russia in the Siberian Federal District and the Ministry of Health of the Novosibirsk Region.

2024: Appointment of Deputy Governor of the Novosibirsk Region
In September 2024, the Governor of the Novosibirsk Region Andrei Travnikov appointed Konstantin Khalzov as his deputy, who will oversee the activities of this ministry, as well as the Ministry of Labor and Social Development. Konstantin Khalzov, among other things, will follow the national projects "Family," "Long and active life," "New health saving technologies."
As explained to the NSS portal in the press service of the government of the Novosibirsk region, Konstantin Khalzov will only be deputy, the post of Minister of Health by September 9, 2024 remains free.
Konstantin Khalzov is a representative of the famous medical dynasty of the Khalzovs. His father, Vasily Lavrentievich Khalzov - Honored Doctor of Russia, Professor of the Department of Hospital Surgery, Doctor of Medical Sciences. Older brother Andrei Vasilievich - Associate Professor of the Department of Surgery of NGMU, Candidate of Medical Sciences.[1]
