Biography

Alexander was born on July 21, 1945 in the settlement the Beach on Sakhalin.

Graduated from Moscow Engineering Physics Institute.

Candidate of Technical Sciences, winner of the State award.

From 1968 to 1973 worked as the engineer at the Zagorsk electromechanical plant.

From 1973 to 1996 worked as the senior engineer, the chief of department of ITM and VT of S.A. Lebedev. During this period he was a part of group of the leading developers of microarchitecture of basic devices of multiprocessor computer systems "Elbrus-1", "Elbrus-2", "Elbrus-3", directed works on adjustment and tests of complexes on the customer's objects.

Since 1992 works at the MCST enterprise.

With several supporters Alexander Kim organized the company based on which the MCST Ltd private company is created (an abbreviation from "The Moscow Center SPARC of technologies"). Cooperation with SUN Microsystems company helped to attract investments and to save group of highly qualified specialists.

Kim - one of the main creators of microprocessor architecture Elbrus.

Permanent member of section of the Military-industrial commission under the President of the Russian Federation. Candidate of Technical Sciences, the author more than 60 scientific works, holds more than 15 patents and copyright certificates for inventions, including international.

In 2006 it is appointed to the position of the CEO of PJSC INEUM named after I. Brook.

For August 10, 2016 Alexander Kiirovich of Kym works as the CEO of JSC MCST.

Hobbies

Philosophy and art, mountain skiing, gardening. Candidate for the Master of Sports in sambo.
