Kolsanov Alexander Vladimirovich

As of June, 2018, Alexander Kolsanov is a doctor of medical sciences, professor of RAS, the director of Institute of the innovative development of SAMGMU, the director of the Center of the disruptive researches "IT in medicine", the head of the department of operational surgery, clinical anatomy with a rate of the innovative technologies.

Biography

Alexander Vladimirovich Kolsanov was born in 1974.

Education

In 1997 graduated from the Samara state medical university.

Professor Kolsanov was trained in the Presidential program of management training for the organizations of the national economy of the Russian Federation in Management. Passed foreign training in the field of health care and innovations in Japan, France, Germany, China.

Career

Started a career in a clinical internship under the leadership of professor G.L. Ratner.

In 1999 protected candidate, and in 2003 — the doctoral dissertation on the subject "Complex Treatment of Wound Defects of Leather and Soft Fabrics of a Different Aetiology using Cellular Cultures and Biocoverings".

In 2005 it is appointed the deputy vice rector of SAMGMU for scientific and innovation work.

From 2006 to 2014 headed the Samara interterritorial center of transplantation of a kidney later reorganized into the Samara center of organ and tissue transplantation. Worked as the chief non-staff specialist of the Ministry of Health of the Samara region on transplantology.

Since 2007 professor Kolsanov heads in SAMGMU department of operational surgery, clinical anatomy with a rate of the innovative technologies. Under supervision of Alexander Vladimirovich there was an integration of the classical university program of teaching to the innovation approaches in education. The training program includes occupations using the hi-tech educational products developed in SAMGMU. Students are trained using 2D - and 3D - simulators, anatomic 3D - atlases, virtual surgical exercise machines, silicone dummies. Under the leadership of professor Kolsanov of modularity the educational and methodical block in consecutive mastering of disciplines is developed for training of specialists at a stage of professional education, in particular, in a format of educational master classes in endoscopic surgery.

Since 2014 heads Institute of the innovative development of SAMGMU. Under the leadership of professor in university it is created and the innovation infrastructure develops: Center of the disruptive researches "IT in medicine", research and production technopark, scientific and education centers and international laboratories, 12 small innovation enterprises. The ideology "from the idea in a series" is built: at the university the system of creation and commercialization of hi-tech innovation products for medicine and education is debugged. Alexander Vladimirovich heads research work within large grants from Ministry of Education and Science and Ministry of Industry and Trade Russia in the direction IT medicine.

Professor Kolsanov is one of ideologists of formation of new branch of the economy of the region — IT medicine. In 2013 at the level of the governor of the Samara region the actions plan of the Government of the region on development in the region of the respective area of economy was created and approved. And in 2014 the innovation territorial cluster of medical and pharmaceutical technologies of the Samara region was created. Alexander Vladimirovich Kolsanov heads Coordination council of the Cluster.

In 2018 according to resolutions of presidium of the Russian Academy of Sciences to Alexander Vladimirovich Kolsanov the rank of professor of RAS is given.

He is married, has two sons.
