Biography

Born in 1987 in the city of Moscow.

He received higher education, graduating in 2008 from MGIMO of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation with a degree in international relations.

He continued his education at Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, received the qualification of "manager" with a degree in state and municipal administration in 2012.

In 2013, he completed advanced training in Singapore under the program "Development of the education system: experience of Singapore."

He began his career in 2009 in the banking sector, at Nordea Bank.

In 2010, he moved to the field of education as a researcher at the Federal Institute for the Development of Education.

Since 2011, he worked in the Department of Education and Science of Moscow, where he went from a leading specialist to the head of the department. As the head of the information technology development department, he coordinated the implementation of IT solutions in the metropolitan education system, was the chairman of the supervisory board of TemoCenter.

In March 2020, he joined the system of the Ministry of Education of Russia and was appointed and. about. Director of the Center for the Implementation of State Educational Policy and Information Technology.

In March 2021, by order of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, he was appointed director of the Academy for the Implementation of State Policy and Professional Development of Education Workers.

2021: Head of the Federal Institute for Digital Transformation in Education

As TAdviser found out in July 2021, the head of the Federal Institute for Digital Transformation in Education (FITZTO) was replaced. Acting Director of the Institute was headed by Sergey Kozhevnikov.

The purpose of the activities of FITZTO, a subordinate organization of the Ministry of Education, is "to create conditions for the development of digitalization of education and science, to provide the scientific and methodological basis for the development of a modern, safe and effective educational system due to the digital transformation of its activities." FITZTO takes part in such projects as the federal system for the accessibility of preschool education (FGIS DDO), the support of the official website of the Ministry of Education, the Russian Electronic School, the federal portal Russian Education and others. Sergey Kozhevnikov replaced acting director of the Ministry of Education Lyudmila Bokova, who headed the FITZTO since September 2020. She went to work at Moscow State Regional University (MGOU), on the website of which it is indicated that Bokova holds the position of vice-rector for vocational education there.

In the summer of 2021, the director of the Department of Digital Transformation and Big Data of the Ministry of Education also changed - it was headed by Andrei Gorobets. And Pavel Kuzmin, who previously held this position, moved to the position of acting Director of the Academy of the Ministry of Education.
