Krasnyansky Georgy Leonidovich is the chairman of the board of directors of Karakan invest.

Biography

Georgy was born in 1955.

In 1978 graduated from the Moscow Mining institute.

The Doctor of Economics, professor, the honored economist of Russia, the board member of the International coal association WCA, the member of scientific expert advice at the rector of NITU MISIS.

Since 1978 worked at technical and executive positions in Ukrglavugol at State Logistics Committee of USSR, mine of D.F. Melnikov, consolidation Lisichanskugol.

In 1989 became the chief economist, then the associate director on scientific work of Institute of mining of A.A. Skochinsky.

In 1993 it is appointed the First Deputy CEO of Rosugol company on economy, the board member.

Since 1995 - the academician-secretary of Academy of mining sciences of the Russian Federation.

From 1998 to 2002 worked as the chairman of the board of directors of Rosuglesbyt company.

In 2001 it is appointed the head of the intersection working group on problems of the coal industry of the interfractional deputy consolidation "Energy of Russia" of the State Duma of the Russian Federation.

From 2002 to 2007 - the shareholder of the holding company EVROTSEMENT Group Ltd.

In 2008 at a meeting of the World mountain congress in Katowice (Poland) it is elected the chairman of the Russian organizing committee of the World mountain congress.

Since 2010 created and began financing of the investment project of the Karakansky coal and power cluster. Becomes the Chairman of the board of directors of Shakhta Belovskaya Ltd.

In 2011 merges assets of Shakhta Belovskaya Ltd, BELKOMMERTS LLC, PROMYSHLENNIK LLC in the holding company Karakan invest LLC. Becomes the Chairman of the board of directors of Karakan invest LLC.

For March 3, 2015 Georgy Leonidovich Krasnyansky works as the chairman of the board of directors of Karakan invest.
