Biography
Aleksandr Kretov, a distinguished entrepreneur and experienced manager, was born in Chelyabinsk in 1972. He spent his formative years in his hometown, nurturing a passion for business and innovation. In 1989, he embarked on his academic journey by enrolling in the esteemed Chelyabinsk Polytechnic Institute, which is now known as the South Ural State University (SUSU). Five years later, he graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering.
To further his academic abilities, Aleksandr Kretov went on to specialise in Finance and Credit before becoming a qualified economist in 1996, thereby equipping himself with a wealth of knowledge in his pursuit to become an adept entrepreneur.
The turning point in his career had come a year earlier when Aleksandr Kretov assumed the role of project lead for the construction of the Center for the Food Industry - Ariant in Chelyabinsk. In the early 2000s, the company strategically acquired agrofirm Yuzhnaya, known for its extensive vineyards in the prestigious wine-producing region of the Krasnodar region. Under his skilled guidance, the winemaking center, Kuban-Vino, underwent a comprehensive restoration and modernisation process, solidifying its position as a prominent player in the wine industry.
In 2016, Aleksandr Kretov assumed the role of CEO at Agrofirma Ariant LLC, which specialises in meat production. Displaying his acumen in management, he made remarkable strides in refining and modernising the company's technical and technological processes, securing its growth and success.
From 2019 to 2020, Aleksandr Kretov served as the CEO of the Center for the Food Industry - Ariant LLC. In 2020, he became a shareholder in the newly formed Ariant Group of Companies, which unifies the various production centers for full-cycle winemaking and meat products.
A visionary entrepreneur, built a team that now manages the companies independently. They remain committed to the ongoing enhancement and modernisation of production and business processes, with a distinct emphasis on environmental sustainability. The winemaking facilities within the Ariant Group have fully embraced renewable energy sources, ensuring both energy self-sufficiency and ecologically conscious production. Following Kretov's favorite saying: "The future begins today".
Aleksandr Kretov's commitment to family dominates his personal life. He is devoted to his wife, five children and three grandchildren. In his leisure time, he embraces an active lifestyle, engaging in various sports and travelling.
