Biography

Pyotr Krumkhanzl was born on May 6, 1966 in Hradec Kralove (Czech Republic).

From 1984 to 1989 studied in Charles University in Prague, received doctor's degree on mathematics.

From April, 2004 to January, 2008 worked as the operating officer in the Czech Raiffeisenbank CZ.

Then he moved to Ukraine and continued to work within group: from January, 2008 to July, 2011 there was the operating officer Raiffeisen of the Aval Bank.

After work in the Ukrainian bank Pyotr Krumkhanzl returned to the EU.

From July, 2011 to May, 2013 was engaged in temporary management and consulting in the field of financial services.

From May, 2013 to April, 2016 in Slovenia was a chief operating officer, the board member of Heta Asset Resolution company (this company received bad assets from Hypo Bank and Hypo Leasing).

Since May, 2016 and until the end of 2017 worked in China: chief operating officer, CIO of the Chinese organization Home Credit China.

On January 10, 2018 the decision of the supervisory board of PrivatBank Pyotr Krumkhanzl is appointed the chairman of the board. In the nearest future his candidacy should be approved also in the National Bank of Ukraine. As noted, Pyotr Krumkhanzl became the first foreigner who headed national bank in Ukraine.

Some days before the message about its appointment in the country became effective law No. 2210-VIII which allows to take positions of top managers of banks to persons without profile education. Earlier only persons with the finished higher education in the field of economy, management could apply for such positions or it is right. Possibly, the initiative was developed just for the sake of introduction to top management of PrivatBank of the Czech banker.^[1]

Skills

Pyotr Krumkhanzl, along with native Czech, knows Russian, English, German and Japanese languages.

Professional skills concern spheres of banking business, strategy, management, restructuring of the credits, transactions M&A, the capital markets, operational management, etc.

Is an owner of a black belt of fighting oriental martial art of aikido and the sixth it is given. Worked at school of martial arts Aikido Klub Praha.^[2]
