Lipich Grigory

Was born on December 1, 1972 in Lyuboml (Ukraine). Graduated from faculty of cybernetics of the University of Taras Shevchenko (Kiev) in 1994.

In 1995 together with fellow students and representatives of BIT Software company (Moscow, Russia) founded the BIT Ukraine company soon renamed into ABBYY Ukraine. Under the leadership of Grigory Lipich there was a formation of ABBYY Ukraine company and its strategic development in the territory of Ukraine.

Since the end of 2000 Mr. Lipich coordinated marketing and sales of ABBYY in the countries of Central and Eastern Europe and also in some countries of the Mediterranean.

In 2004 became the chief manager (CPM) on the FineReader project at head office ABBYY.

In July, 2005 Grigory Lipich was appointed the CEO of ABBYY Russia. Main objectives of ABBYY Russia: marketing, promotion and sales of all product line of ABBYY in the territory of Russia and the CIS countries.

Grigory Lipich is a citizen of Ukraine which does not permit to have a double citizenship. By own recognition in Facebook, the Russian citizenship it does not make out since[1] does not separate values of "your power"[2]. "In the night from 1 for March 2 I wrote to two people in the company whose opinion is most important for me that I in the head had a conflict of interest and there is a probability that with the current power in Russia it will be difficult to me to work well together, even in spite of the fact that specifically those officials (ministers and people of their level) with which I communicate excellent people and professionals of the case also care for the country and its people, but not for themselves", - Lipich in Facebook social network[3] reported[4][.
