Career
2015-2020
Since April 2015, Konstantin Loktionov headed the Soviet Central City Hospital in Kaliningrad. Under his leadership, the medical institution has undergone serious changes both in strengthening the material and technical base and in staffing professional personnel, the regional Ministry of Health said.
In January 2020, Loktionov was appointed chief physician of the Regional Clinical Hospital of the Kaliningrad Region, which is the main clinical base of the Medical Institute of the Baltic Federal University named after Kant.
2024: Appointment as Head of the Ministry of Health of the Kaliningrad Region
In May 2024, Konstantin Loktionov became the head of the Ministry of Health of the Kaliningrad Region. He replaced Alexander Kravchenko, who resigned of his own free will.
Kravchenko's new place of work is not called. According to the Rugrad portal, he planned to head the Cancer Center of the Kaliningrad Region after its launch. The medical institution officially does not work by mid-May 2024.
Kravchenko headed the Kaliningrad Ministry of Health since March 2017. Prior to that, he worked in leading medical organizations in Russia, including the Scientific Center for Surgery, the First Moscow State Medical University named after I.M. Sechenov.
According to the sources of "New Kaliningrad," Alexander Kravchenko did not communicate with ordinary doctors, preferring contact with the hospital top management - chief doctors. The reports of the chief doctors corresponded to the letter of the order, however, in late 2023 - early 2024, a number of "salary" scandals thundered in the region's largest health care institutions.[1]
