Biography

Dmitry Vladimirovich Lyugay was born on March 24, 1962 in Samarkand (the Uzbek SSR).

Graduated from the Tashkent polytechnical institute majoring in "technology and comprehensive mechanization of development of oil and gas fields". Doctor of Engineering.

All labor and scientific activity of Dmitry Lyugaya is connected with the gas industry.

1984–1986 - The operator on underground repair of wells, the geologist of Gas-field management of Shurtangaz of a Higher Professional Education Soyuzuzbekgazprom.

1986–1988 - Engineer, junior researcher of Sredazniigaz institute.

1988–1991 - Graduate student of a target postgraduate study of Gazprom VNIIGAZ LLC.

1991–2001 - Research associate, senior research associate, leading researcher, chief researcher of Sredazniigaz institute.

2002 - The head of department of oil and gas of Scientific and applied and training center power - and resource-saving at the Tashkent state technical university.

2002–2003 - Chief researcher of laboratory of design and analysis of development of the Urengoy field of Gazprom VNIIGAZ LLC.

2003–2004 - The associate director of the "Development, Operation of Fields of Natural Gases and Well-drilling" Center — the head of department of methodology of design of Gazprom VNIIGAZ LLC.

2004–2006 - The director of the "Development, Operation of Fields of Natural Gases and Well-drilling" Center — the chief of laboratory of design and the analysis of development of the Urengoy field of Gazprom VNIIGAZ LLC.
