Marina Makedonskaya was born on July 23, 1974 in the city of Rossoshi, Voronezh Region.

Education

In 1997, she graduated from Saratov State Medical University with a degree in Medical Medicine. In 2011, she completed her studies at the P.A. Stolypin Volga Academy of Public Administration with a degree in State and Municipal Administration. Candidate of Medical Sciences, Associate Professor.

Career

2004-2011

From 2004 to 2007, Macedonskaya worked as the head of the therapeutic department No. 1 of the hospital of the city hospital No. 4 of the city of Tambov. In 2007-2011, she held the position of deputy chief physician for therapeutic work of the Tambov Regional Clinical Hospital. In 2011, she headed the city clinical hospital named after Archbishop Luke of the city of Tambov. 2025: Appointment to the post of Minister of Health of the Tambov Region

On May 26, 2025, Marina Makedonskaya, chief physician of the Archbishop Luke Hospital and chairman of the Regional Duma Committee on Health Protection, was appointed Minister of Health of the Tambov Region. In this post, she will replace Aelita Zenkina, who served as the head of the department from May 13, 2025 after the departure of Ekaterina Yunkova.

Macedonskaya will begin to fulfill her official duties after all the necessary procedures have passed in the regional Duma and resigns as a deputy. Before being appointed to a new post, she was deputy head of the United Russia party faction, as well as chairman of the health protection committee in the Tambov Regional Duma of the seventh convocation.
