Biography

Education

In 2015 Vera Mashkova gained the diploma of the University of Kingston (Kingston University, London) and degree of Master of Science in International HR. Also confirmed the qualification to Chartered FCIPD and membership of the Royal Institution of CIPD which testifies to the highest level of competences HR.

Career

In 2001-2005 worked at the Russian office Shell where, in particular, was engaged in talent management.

In 2005-2008 - the HR manager in pharmaceutical company GlaxoSmithKline.

With 2008-2009 - the HR director at the Russian office General Motors (GM), in 2009-2013 - in Hewlett-Packard, in 2013-2017 - in ABB.

Appointment in Abbyy

In October, 2017 Vera Mashkova was appointed the director of work with personnel of ABBYY group. In this position she will be responsible for the global HR strategy of attraction, development and employee retention for effective development of the company.

As explained TAdviser in Abbyy, earlier in the company there were only heads of HR in key regions of presence. Need for creation of a global position is connected with more and more active development of ABBYY in international market. ​

I came to work to the company which is on the threshold of the next stage of the global growth. Increase in sizes, gain of geographical expansion, increase in innovation and importance for the industry will demand a lot of work from everyone in Abbyy.
