2025: CEO appointment of OBI construction store chain

At the end of October 2025, Vladimir Matyanov became the CEO of the OBI construction store chain. In this position, he replaced Svetlana Mozhaeva, who led the company since May 2025.

According to the Vedomosti newspaper, referring to information from the SPARK-Interfax database, Matyanov has been appointed to the post of head of three legal entities that manage one of the largest Russian OBI home goods and repair networks: OBI Franchise Center LLC (OBI FC LLC), Make with Your Own Hands LLC and Make with Your Own Hands North-West LLC.

As noted, the person whose name is Vladimir Matyanov, as of the end of 2023, was listed as the director of business support and deputy general director of Vorkutaugol JSC, one of the largest coal mining companies in Russia, which previously belonged to Severstal. The latter is part of the Severgroup Alexei Mordashov.

At the same time, Mozhaeva remains the general director Domlenta of LLC "," which was registered on October 16, 2025. The co-founders of this company are the Lenta network with a 90% stake and Center Holding LLC. At the same time, Lenta itself is part of Severgroup.

According to network sources, Domlenta may be a new name for the OBI network. Market participants believe that individual OBI legal entities will be consolidated, and all retail operations will be transferred to Domlenta LLC. A general director has been appointed to manage the previously existing structures, which will ensure their preparation for phased liquidation, in particular, the completion of settlements with suppliers, inventory inventory, etc. It is assumed that Domlenta will become a sub-brand of the Lenta grocery chain. Earlier, OBI FC LLC registered the Дом-Лента.РФ and Домлента.РФ domains^[1]
