Biography

Mikhail Spichak was born on September 27, 1954 in the village of Innokentyevka of Krasnoyarsk Krai.

Education

In 1977 graduated from faculty "Heat Treatment of Metals" of the Krasnoyarsk institute of non-ferrous metals, specialty - the metallurgical engineer.

Career

The same year began a working career as the technologist of press production of Krasnoyarsk Metallurgical Plant (KRAMZ). Worked for Kramze as the master, the general foreman, the head of department, the deputy head of the department for production, the chief engineer.

From 2001 to 2003 - the CEO of KRAMZ LLC.

From 2003 to 2006 – the CEO of JSC Belokalitvinsky Metallurgical Production Association (now - Alkoa Metallurg Rus Ltd).

2006 – 2008 – CEO of KRAMZ LLC.

In July, 2008 it is appointed the Managing director Alkoa Russia, the CEO of JSC Samara Metallurgical Plant (in July, 2009 it is renamed into Alkoa SMZ Ltd).

Awards

Mikhail Spichak is a winner of an award of the Government of the Russian Federation in science and technology. In 2002 to it the rank "Honourable Metallurgist of the Russian Federation" was given. In 2004, 2005 and 2006. The Russian association of managers included Mikhail Spichak in the list of the most professional Russian managers.
