Biography

Was born on September 15, 1967 in Sverdlovsk.

1990: NITU MISIS

In 1990 with honors graduated from the Moscow institute of steel and alloys majoring in "metallurgical engineer".

In 1990 - 1993 studied in a postgraduate study of MISIS.

In 1993 went to work in MISIS on department of rare metals and powder metallurgy where there passed the way from the assistant to the head of the department.

In 1998 it is appointed the chief of economic planning management of MISIS.

In 2004 it is appointed the vice rector for economy and finance, and in April, 2007 - the first vice rector of the Moscow institute of steel and alloys.

In 2002 - 2003 underwent occupational retraining according to the "Director of economics and finance" program in Academy of National Economy at the Government of the Russian Federation.

Activity on a post of the Deputy Minister of Education

On September 1, 2008 the order of the Russian Prime Minister it is appointed the Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Russian Federation. In 2009 was from the Ministry of Education and Science a part of Council of chief designers for use of ICT in activity of federal executive authorities at the Ministry of Telecom and Mass Communications.

The deputy minister became known to IT market after a number of the high-profile projects implemented under his supervision. Miklushevsky's signature, for example, stood under the order of September, 2009 on the approval of requirements to computers for handicapped children to whom corresponded only to Mac Mini Apple. Implementation at schools of Russia of the open source was one more sensational project which was directed by Miklushevsky. Let's remind that the Federal agency by training in 2009 decided not to be engaged in installation of programs, and instead to train teachers that they implemented software independently. The President of Russia Dmitry Medvedev during the report on Council for development of information society noted that it is reached by different signals of the fate of Open Source at schools. On October 8, 2010, according to the Far East press, Vladimir Miklushevsky will be appointed the rector of Far Eastern Federal University (DVFU) which construction goes on Russky Island near Vladivostok. The official statement of the Ministry of Education about resignation of the deputy minister did not arrive yet. The head of department Andrey Fursenko reported CNews^[1]that already entered idea of Miklushevsky's appointment by the rector to the government. In case of making decision on appointment in the university, it will leave the post in the ministry. The press service of the Ministry of Education and Science said that for September 28, 2010 Miklushevsky is on vacation, and no documents on his resignation are signed.

Despite criticism of a number of projects in which Vladimir Miklushevsky was engaged Andrey Fursenko is happy with his work. The solution to leave the Ministry of Education and Science to a vpolz of Far Eastern Federal University proceeded from Miklushevsky, the minister of CNews reported.

2010: DVFU

On February 28, 2012 it is appointed the acting as the governor of Primorsky Krai, from March 16, 2012 to October 4, 2017 - the governor of Primorsky Krai.

On December 28, 2017 the acting rector of the Moscow polytechnical university, and on April 25, 2018 - the rector of the Moscow polytechnical^[2] is appointed].
