Alexander Borisovich Milyavsky (sort. On May 12, 1963, Minsk) — the Russian entrepreneur, the politician, the deputy of the Moscow City Duma (United Russia fraction).

Alexander Milyavsky was born in Minsk, in family of engineers. The labor way began in 15 years. Worked as the electrician at the tractor plant, the technician at a film studio, mastered working specialties. Since the childhood was interested in technical achievements and entered the radio engineering institute.

After leaving school entered the Minsk radio engineering institute from which graduated, having gained the diploma in "electronics and ADP equipment".

Since 1986 worked in a prospecting expedition in Old Urengoy in the Yamal-Nenets geological consolidation, solving problems of adjustment of an electronic equipment.

Having withstood competition, in 1988 it is directed to a training to France – to study the unique equipment. The industry of the USSR then very much needed the specialists able to work with the latest import equipment.

In 1997 headed large enterprise on production of TVs which ran till 2005 - "The Rubin Moscow Television Plant (MTP). These years production of modern TVs was arranged, the equipment is completely upgraded, the best engineers of the country are involved. At the same time it was succeeded to save the most powerful scientific potential and to create unique technical base.

In 2002 got second higher education, having graduated from the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (University) the MFA of Russia.

In April, 2011 it became known that, owners of the Cyprian Timeturns Holdings which is busied in the telecommunication markets of developing countries is the deputy of the Moscow City Duma from United Russia Alexander Milyavsky and the businesswoman from Nepal Samatha Prasad[1].

Political activity

In 2005 he was appointed the coordinator of the working group on protection of the rights of defrauded investors in Moscow. By A.B. Milyavsky's efforts more than three thousand families received apartments.

On elections on December 4, 2005 it was elected the deputy of the Moscow City Duma of the 4th convocation according to the list of a batch United Russia in the 14th constituency.

In City Council entered the structure of United Russia fraction. Held a position of the commission chairman of the Duma on perspective development and town planning. Was a part of the budget and financial commission and Commission on Environmental Policy.

Participates in work of the joint Moscow City Duma Commission and Moscow region duma on coordination of legislative activity.

Drafted the bill on fight against piracy.

Achieved adoption of the amendments in the Town-planning code of Moscow which prohibited sealing building.

Milyavsky is the large sponsor of United Russia who offered in 2009 for needs of a batch of 43 million rubles.

For April, 2011 is the vice-chairman of the budget and financial commission, the vice-chairman of the commission on perspective development and town planning, the member of the commission on state-owned property and land use of the Moscow City Duma.

Thanks to Alexander Milyavsky's efforts ahead of schedule open-air station of the Slavyansky Boulevard subway. New schools, kindergartens and sports complexes are constructed. The apple orchard near Fili-Davydkovo is saved.

In the Olympic village he created free children's sports school.

Awards

The decree of the President V.V. Putin in 2003 Alexander Milyavsky was awarded with a medal of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland" of the II degree.

Family

Alexander Milyavsky is married, brings up two sons. To the senior, Mikhail – 16 years, younger, to Ivan – 7 years. (April, 2011)
