Nazarov Victor Ivanovich

Nazarov Victor Ivanovich is the former governor of the Omsk region.

Biography

Was born on October 18, 1962 in the village of Ingaly of Bolsherechensky district of the Omsk region, Russia.

Education

1988 - graduated from law department of the Omsk state university.

Military Service

1980 - 1982 - served in armed forces of the USSR in the Far East in troops of marines.

Career

1979 - began to work as the turner at the Omsk electrotechnical plant of Karl Marx.

1988 - - worked with 1990 in bodies of prosecutor's office of Cherlaksky and Omsk districts.

1990 - - passed 1992 to work into military prosecutor's office: worked as the investigator in body No. 56681.

1992 - For 2001 - worked as the lawyer in the different organizations.

2001 - the head of legal department of Devon LLC.

2003 - begins to work in the Omsk branch Mezhregiongaz LLC (which next year was transformed to Omskregiongaz Ltd, since 2010 Gazprom-Mezhregiongaz-Omsk Ltd is).

He held in this organization at first a position of the assistant department head on operational work with consumers, then the deputy director general for general issues.

2005 - the CEO of Gazprom-Mezhregiongaz-Omsk company.

On December 4, 2011 - it is elected the deputy of Legislative assembly of the Omsk region from the Tyukalinsky constituency.

On April 3, 2012 - the president Russia Dmitry Medvedev proposed Victor Nazarov's candidacy for a post of the governor of the Omsk region.

April 9, 2012 - By legislative assembly of the Omsk region it is confirmed to the governor's post.

On May 30, 2012 - started execution of powers of the governor of the Omsk region. The inauguration was held at the Omsk academic drama theater.

Entered into United Russia fraction, worked as the vice-chairman of committee on property, the member of the committee on the legislation.

As one of the main measures of conversion of the region after taking office, Victor Ivanovich designated changes of the Economic situation in the Omsk region then it planned will decide on specific further actions. On a question "What strategic objectives and tasks it sets for itself(himself)" Nazarov answered:

"First of all I would like to see our Omsk region highly effective. It should be the area where people will survive not just, and to see ahead perspective and ways of further development. I, setting for itself plans and tasks, first of all I want to stop on the relations with media. I never was a politician, but I understand that, appointing me the governor of the Omsk region, the president meant that I will need to politicize. And when you begin to take the first steps, you understand why today we have protest moods in society. They – a defect of the power in communication with the people, with society. I consider that journalists should help with solution of the problem of building a dialogue between the power and society. Most correctly, most precisely and accurately only you can convey to people information on how works actually and as the power should work. Perhaps, it is worth even creating some public council, to submit some voprsa for discussion. I consider that there has to be an equal availability to all media to work with the power"

Victor Nazarov: plans and tasks on the governor's post

In May, 2015 early resignation of Nazarov from the governor's post for the sake of participation in September elections took place. In the Uniform voting day on September 13, 2015 it is re-elected for new term and on September 22, 2015 entered a position. At the same time headed the government of the Omsk region.

In September, 2016 it was elected the deputy of Legislative assembly of the Omsk region as a part of the candidate list, put forward by United Russia, but refused the mandate, having saved a post of the governor of the region.

On October 9, 2017 Russian President Vladimir Putin dismissed Victor Nazarov of the governor Omsk region.

On February 8, 2018 ^[1] was transferred to Victor Nazarov the vacant mandate of the deputy of Legislative assembly of the Omsk region].

Since March 15, 2018 the member of the Federation Council of Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation from the Omsk region. Represents legislative (representative) public authority of the Omsk region to the Federation Council.

Since April, 2018 - the member of the committee of the Federation Council on federal structure, regional policy, local government and affairs of the North.

Public activity

July, 2012 - took part in opening of a new pig-breeding complex in the Omsk region^[2].

On October 23, 2012 - participated in a foundation stone laying of the building of hockey academy of Avangard near "Arena Omsk" together with Alexey Miller^[3].

On March 14, 2013 - participated in a meeting of members of Association of development of a small and medium entrepreneurship and reported that the government of the region develops the credit program of small business with the Omsk banks^[4].

April, 2013 - took part in work of Council of interregional association "Siberian Agreement". In the report stated a number of the offers directed to cost reduction which can arise in economy of regions in connection with accession to WTO^[5].

It is awarded with the Order of Friendship (2017), the Certificate of honor of the Federation Council of Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation.

Hobbies

In free time is fond of reading, fishing and swimming.

Interesting Facts

Telling about hunting, he told that "my hobby today not hunting, but reproduction of animals. I am a hunter with the camera and the last five years never killed anybody"^[6].

About the relation to sport:

"I am a former athlete. And I have to any sport a reverent attitude. Our task - to tighten boys from the street that they were engaged in sports sections. From them champions"^[7] turn out^[7]
