Career
2000-2004
Nicolas More joined Renault in 2000 as purchasing director of the parts and accessories division, after a career at Valeo and Faurecia. Then he became the director of the Renault quality plan (in March 2003) and the general manager of the automatic transmission division (in September 2004).
2006-2014
In September 2006, Nicolas More was appointed director of the Dacia power plant in Romania.
In August 2008, he became vice president of power units at the Renault-Nissan procurement organization, and in March 2013 he was appointed vice president of production indicators of the group.
In January 2014, Nicolas More was appointed Managing Director of Groupe Renault in Romania and CEO of Automobile Dacia.
2016-2020
In April 2016, Nicolas More became president and general director of AvtoVAZ, having worked until May 2018. In June 2019, he became chairman of the board of directors of the Russian automaker.
On January 1, 2018, he was appointed senior vice president of Groupe Renault and head of the Eurasia region.
In September 2020, Nicolas More became executive vice president of Groupe Renault for transformations.
2021: Appointment as President of AvtoVAZ
In mid-April 2021, AvtoVAZ announced the appointment of Nicolas More as president of the company instead of Yves Karakatzanis.
Nicolas More will take office as president of AvtoVAZ PJSC from June 1, 2021 - on this day the term of office of Yves Karakatzanis expires, the new place of work of which is not called by April 19, 2021.
