Biography

Sergey Nishchev was born in 1980 in Saransk.

2002

In 2002, he was educated at Moscow State University-Saransk, graduating from the university with a degree in Economics and Management.

From 2004 to 2006, he worked as head of marketing, commercial director at the Volga branch of MegaFon.

Since 2006, he began working as a commercial director at Volga Group.

2021: Appointment to the post of general director of Bashinformsvyaz

On January 18, 2021, the telecommunications company Bashinformsvyaz announced the appointment of Sergei Nishchev to the post of general director. He replaced Sergei Alferov, who headed the telecom operator since July 2019.

It is noted that in his new position Sergey Nishchev will focus on strengthening Bashinformsvyaz's position in the market, improving customer service and implementing the company's development strategy in the region. According to Ivan Zima, vice president, director of the Volga macro-regional branch of PJSC Rostelecom (which includes Bashinformsvyaz), Nishchev's main tasks will be the implementation of large federal projects in the region, the development of modern digital services, modernization and construction of telecommunications networks.

I am sure that management experience in the field of telecommunications will allow the new head to raise the company's business to a higher level. According to the press service of Bashinformsvyaz, Sergei Nishchev has 15 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. At the same time, he also held senior positions in large Russian companies in the fields of development and financial services.

It is reported that Nishchev has practical experience in building effective sales and marketing systems and restructuring enterprise management. He was the organizer and direct executor of 30 consulting projects in industrial enterprises.^[1]
