Education

In 1997 he graduated with honors from Mordovian State University named after N.P. Ogarev with a degree in Management.

In 1997 he entered the full-time department of graduate school at Moscow State University. N.P. Ogarev, majoring in Economics and National Economy Management. In 2000 he defended his thesis for the degree of candidate of economic sciences.

Career

He began his career in 1999 as a consultant to the Department of Science and New Technologies of the Apparatus of the Government of the Republic of Mordovia.

In 2005-2012 - Deputy Minister of Economy of the Republic of Mordovia.

May 21, 2012 appointed Minister of Informatization and Communications of the Republic of Mordovia.

In July 2018, Igor Sokolov transferred to the post of First Deputy Minister of Informatization and Communications of the Republic of Mordovia - Head of the Department of Digital Development. As minister, he was replaced by Igor Wolfson, who joined the department from Rostelecom.
