2022: New position - President of Biotek
In November 2022, it became known about the appointment of Oleg Chirkov as the new president of Biotek instead of Yulia Boltneva, who held this post since March 2022.
According to media reports, personnel changes occurred on the initiative of the daughter of the founder of Biotek Svetlana Spiegel, who now represents the owners of the company. the management of the group on its initiative, in addition to Chirkov, also included the first vice-president of Biotek Sergey Guriev and the chairman of the board of directors of Marbiofarma Grigory Levitsky.
The founder of the company, Boris Spiegel, is suspected of paying bribes to the former governor of the Penza region, Sergei Belozertsev.
In October 2022, it was reported that the Prosecutor General's Office approved the indictment against them and several other defendants. In early November, the Supreme Court sent the case for consideration to Moscow. The Prosecutor General's Office applied for a change in territorial jurisdiction. According to the supervisory authority, the accused retained influence in Penza and can negatively affect the objective consideration of the case if the process takes place there.
Earlier it was reported that the Ellara company filed a lawsuit with the court to declare Biotek bankrupt. At the same time, the case almost immediately paused, due to the fact that the applicant did not attach a document confirming the payment of the state duty. This could have been done deliberately, some experts say. In general, the amount of monetary claims, according to the decision in the case of Ellara and Biotek, is just under 14.5 million rubles.
It is expected that Grigory Levitsky should soon head the Biotek IPPDK, which he led from 2009 to 2021, before Sergei Zhukovsky took over as president of the company.[1]
