Biography

Olga Safonova graduated from the Faculty of Computational Mathematics and Cybernetics of Moscow State University. Lomonosov in 1993.

In 1996, she joined KPMG, then continued to work in a consulting practice that separated from the audit business, called KPMG Consulting, later renamed BearingPoint.

From 2001 to 2004, Safonova worked at Deloitte & Touche Central Europe, after which she returned to BearingPoint as senior manager, then managing director, and since 2009 - partner. Olga managed major successful projects for key BearingPoint clients, including LUKOIL, SUEK, Rosatom State Corporation, AK Alrosa and other leaders of the Russian economy.

2015: Leader of BearingPoint practice in the CIS region and General Director of BearingPoint LLC

On April 2, 2015, BearingPoint announced the appointment of Olga Safonova to the post of leader of BearingPoint practice in the CIS region and General Director of BearingPoint LLC.

Having Natalia Krasnoperova led BearingPoint's practice in the region CIS since 2007, she continued to work for the company, focusing on developing the business and providing services to BearingPoint customers in her position as Head of Global Practice for Process Industries, Power Natural Resources, member of the Board of Directors of BeringPoint LLC and member of the Managing Committee of BearingPoint since October 1, 2014.

2023: Resignation as CEO of BearingPoint Russia

Olga Safonova in September 2023 left the post of CEO of BearingPoint Russia and continues to work in the company as a partner.
