Education

Ozar was born on September 26, 1961 in Moscow. In 1984 he graduated from the Moscow Institute of Management named after Sergo Ordzhonikidze with a degree in Engineer-Economist in Production Management Organization. He began his career at the Moscow Tire Plant as an engineer in the department of labor and wages, after which he became the head of the planning and economic department, and then - the financial director of this enterprise.

Career

1999-2020

In 1999, Ozar was appointed Deputy General Director for Economics and Finance - Financial Director of OKB Sukhoi (later - PJSC Sukhoi Company; included in the structure of the United Aircraft Corporation, UAC). From July 31, 2007 to 2011, he served as Executive Director of Sukhoi Company PJSC, after which he was appointed General Director of this organization. In 2015, he joined the board of PJSC UAC, and in February 2016 he also took the post of vice president for military aviation of this corporation.

From March 27 to May 14, 2020, Igor Ozar served as an adviser to the head of the state corporation Roscosmos. In July 2020, he was appointed General Director of RSC Energia PJSC named after S.P. Korolev, which he held until mid-April 2025.

2025: Appointment as General Director of the Ural Civil Aviation Plant

In early September 2025, it became known that Igor Ozar was appointed to the post of general director of the Ural Civil Aviation Plant (UZGA). In this position, he replaced Leonid Luzgin, who led the enterprise since the end of May 2024.

UZGA as of September 10, 2025 does not comment on the appointment of Ozar to the post of its general director. The company specializes in the development, production, testing, repair and maintenance of aviation equipment, parts, components and assemblies. The company's prospective projects are related to the creation of aircraft for local and regional air lines.[1]
