The Acronis company, the decision maker for protection and disaster recovery of data, announced on November 29, 2011 Alex Pinchev's appointment to a post of the president and the CEO of the company.

Mister Pinchev got to work in Acronis on January 17, 2012 and released Jason Donakhyyu holding the CEO's position since 2008 [[Donakhyyu Jason|]] from this duty. Mister Pinchev was a part of Board of Directors of Acronis since November, 2010 and now will continue work in Board of Directors as the appointed CEO.

Behind Pinchev's shoulders more than 30 years of experience of creation and development of the successful companies. He passes into Acronis from Red Hat company where nine years worked as the executive vice president, and recently held the president's post on world sales, services and industrial marketing. Pinchev played an important role in rapid development of Red Hat and expansion in emerging markets.

According to Pinchev, "Acronis has an advantageous combination of talented employees and the technologies leading in the market and also extensive network of sale and great base of clients worldwide". According to him, now the company has an excellent opportunity for further promotion of the products and technologies in the market.

The Acronis company works on technologies which foundation was laid since 1991 within a startup of "Fiztekhsoft". The company appeared in the Russian software market in December, 2000, and in 2001 opened office in Silicon Valley. Now the international offices at Acronis 17, and Moscow is engaged directly in development of solutions and user support. A flagman product line of the company — Acronis True Image.

Business of Acronis quickly gains steam. In the last report of Russoft it is said that the total volume of export of three largest product Russian companies (Kaspersky Lab, Parallels, Acronis) exceeds $500 million.

Achievement of turnover in $1 billion became the purpose both for Parallels, and for Acronis, the report says. Their annual income exceeded $100 million 2-3 years ago, and growth rates are not less than 30% a year. Obviously, for implementation of these ambitious tasks Pinchev is also invited.

In the rating of the most fast-growing companies Inc.5000 of the USA (on all industries) the companies DataArt, Exigen Services and Acronis which, though place the headquarters out of the Russian Federation were noted, but in the location of the main production site are Russian, also reminds Russoft in the research.

Alex Pinchev worked in a position till May, 2013, it was replaced by Belousov Sergey.
