Biography

Yury was born in 1955.

In 1978 graduated from the Moscow institute of engineers of railway transport.

From 1978 to 1980 worked as the person on duty of a station post of centralization, the deputy chief of the station Yasinovataya of the Donetsk railroad.

In 1980 became the chief engineer of the Debaltseve-sorting station of the Donetsk railroad.

From 1981 to 1985 worked as the chief engineer, the station agent at the Khovrino station of Oktyabrskaya Railway.

In 1985 it is transferred to the office of the Moscow department of Oktyabrskaya Railway.

Since 1988 worked as the station agent Kryukovo.

In 1989 and 2002 worked as the station agent Moscow-commodity of Oktyabrskaya Railway.

From 2002 to 2003 worked as the head of department of the organization of container transportations of Federal State Unitary Enterprise Moscow Railway, the chief of branch of state institution TransContainer of Ministry of Railways of the Russian Federation" for the Moscow Railway.

From 2003 to 2005 Yury Georgiyevich worked as the chief of territorial department of Russian Railway branch of JSC TransContainer at the Moscow Railway.

In 2005 and for 2006 TransContainer - Russian Railway branch of JSC worked as the associate director of the center for transportation of goods in containers.

Since 2006 TransContainer on technical policy, informatization and regional programs works as the director of the company.

For April 20, 2015 Yury Georgiyevich Popov worked as the director of informatization of PJSC TransContainer.
