Vitaly Postolaty was born in St. Petersburg in 1975.

Biography

Vitaly Postolaty graduated from Mathematics and Mechanics faculty St. Petersburg State University - SPbSU in 1997. He also gained the diploma of Master of Business Administration, California State University Eastbay and the diploma of Institute of Business and Economy of Moscow in Business Administration.

Vitaly Postolaty started a labor career in 1992. He worked in several Russian companies where was responsible for work with the state customers, creation of retail business, distribution.

More than 7 years since 2000 Vitaly held different posts in Microsoft corporation. In 2005 he was appointed to the position of the Director of the department of work with customers of medium and small business and partners in Microsoft in Russia. In the regional headquarters of Microsoft in Paris Mr. Postolaty took a position of the Board member and Director of Strategy and Business in Central and Eastern Europe. Vitaly also has work experience in the financial industry.

2013: CEO of SAP CIS

Since January 21, 2013 Vitaly Postolaty held a post of the CEO of SAP CIS. In a new position Postolaty replaced Igor Bogachyov who, according to media, will hold a post of the director of a cluster of information technologies of the center of Skolkovo Foundation. SAP CIS reports in the statement that Bogachyov leaves the company for the personal reasons.

In a new position Vitaly Postolaty was responsible for strategic planning, growth of operational efficiency and increase in indicators of the company in Russia and other CIS countries.

For ensuring succession Igor Bogachyov will work together with Vitaly Postolaty for some time. "The market of Russia and the CIS countries has high potential", - Vitaly Postolaty comments on the appointment. - Together with a command I will continue to develop business of the company in the region".

In January, 2014 as CNews knew, the office SAP CIS was left by the CEO Vitaly Postolaty. SAP confirmed this information, having called leaving the personal solution of the head.
