Biography

2008

Mikhail Stordin worked at RTCom as deputy general director and managed the priority national project (PPP) Education, responsible for connecting all educational institutions in Russia to the Internet.

In March 2008, he was appointed deputy general director of Rosservice, where he was responsible for improving interaction with customers and partners, as well as for the quality of project work.

Later, Priavin took the position of head of the Directorate for the Development of Information Systems, Telecommunications and Communications Systems of the Olympstroy State Corporation, created in 2007 to prepare for and host the 2014 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games in Sochi. After the games, in July 2014, the president signed a law on the liquidation of the state corporation.

2015

In October 2015, Mikhail Priodin was appointed acting head of the Committee for Informatization and Communications of the Republic of Komi. The corresponding order was signed by the acting head of the republic , Sergey Gaplikov, who had previously worked at Olimpstroy, like Order: he was the last president of the state corporation, under him it was disbanded.

Gaplikov began to fulfill the duties of the head of Komi in September 2015, after President Vladimir Putin signed a decree on the termination of the powers of the head of Komi Vyacheslav Gaiser in connection with the loss of confidence. This happened after the Investigative Committee reported that Gaiser, together with his deputy, led a criminal community, the purpose of which is "to commit serious crimes aimed at taking possession of state property by criminal means."

Before the appointment of Order, Boris Tulchinsky served as head of the Committee for Informatization and Communications of the Komi Republic since January 2015 . He was appointed to this position due to the fact that the previous head of the Committee - Alexander Selyutin - was removed from office after initiating a criminal case against him.

2016

2020

2021: Arrest in the case of embezzlement of ₽85 million

At the end of October 2021, the Syktyvkar City Court arrested Mikhail Prudin. The former Minister of Mass Communications, Informatization and Communications of the Republic of Komi is accused of committing a crime under Part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code (fraud committed by a group of persons by prior conspiracy, using his official position, on an especially large scale).

According to the investigation, in 2018-2020, Mikhail Priodin, together with his accomplices, stole at least 85 million rubles received by the Patriot Charity Fund for the Promotion of the Volunteer Movement and Patriotic Education of Youth. The ex-head of the administration of the head of Komi does not admit his guilt.

Mikhail Priodin will be in the Syktyvkar pre-trial detention center until December 23, 2021. The investigation by the end of October 2021 is underway with operational support from the FSB department in Komi. The former official faces up to ten years in prison.
