Andrei Ryumin was born on June 12, 1980.
Education
In 2002 graduated from mekhaniko-mathematical faculty of the Moscow State University (MSU) of M.V. Lomonosov.
In 2004, he received a Ph.D. in Economics from the Graduate School of the Institute of Market Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
Biography
2002-2013
From 2002 to 2011, he held various senior positions in leading Russian investment and industrial companies.
In 2011, he was appointed Deputy General Director of United Energy Company OJSC, and in 2013 he headed the OEC.
2014-2017
In 2014-2016 he was engaged in entrepreneurial activities.
In 2016-2017 - independent director, member of the board of directors of Mosenergo OJSC.
2018
In January 2018, he was appointed general director of PJSC Lenenergo.
2021: Appointment to the post of general director of Rosseti
On February 15, 2021, Rosseti announced the appointment of Andrei Ryumin as CEO of the company. The corresponding decision was made by the board of directors three days earlier.
Previously, Andrei Ryumin headed Lenenergo. As head of Rosseti PJSC, he replaced Pavel Livinsky, who headed the company since September 2017. He left Rosseti in January 2021 and was appointed director of the energy department of the Russian government, and Ryumin became the acting general director of Rosseti.
According to Andrei Kutepov, chairman of the Federation Council Committee on Economic Policy, Ryumin managed to establish himself as a strong leader and high-class specialist.
