Oleg Salmanov was born in Kazan in 1974. Graduated from the Kazan state technology university majoring in "automation control engineer".
Since April, 2004 worked as the programmer, the analyst on telecommunications in IC Prospect.
Since February, 2007 was an economic observer of the The New Times magazine.
During the period since March, 2008 was an analyst on bonds in Veles Capital Investment Company.
From October, 2008 to June, 2017 worked as the correspondent and the editor of department "Technologies and telecommunications" in the Vedomosti newspaper. In a conversation with the correspondent of ComNews Oleg Salmanov told that it left the Vedomosti newspaper partly because of changes which happened in the edition recently[1].
"It is possible to tell that I understood in journalism practically everything therefore I decided to come over to other side and to be engaged in what wrote many years about", - he noted.

Oleg Salmanov noticed that Internet of Things is "big and various piece", and there are many different companies in Russia which are connected with this kind of activity. "I will need to build and maintain partnership with these companies", - Oleg Salmanov explained.
