Biography

Alexander graduated from the Moscow State Academy of Instrument Engineering and Computer Science with a degree in instrument engineering, and also received an Executive MBA from the Stockholm School of Economics.

2021: Stada IT Director for Russia and CIS

From February 1, 2021, Alexander Samorodov took the position of Information Technology Director for Stada in Russia and the CIS. Alexander came to Stada from Alcon, a manufacturer of drugs and medical devices, where he served as head of the IT department in Russia. This was announced on February 1, 2021 to TAdviser by Stada.

As TAdviser found out in early August 2025, CIO changed at Binnopharm Group. Instead of Yevgeny Zaitsev, who since 2021 headed the IT unit as director of information technology and business process automation, Alexander Samorodov was appointed to the post of director of information technology.

The main functional responsibilities of the new manager include:
