Denis Samsikov was born in 1973.

Education

He graduated from the Lipetsk Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Metal Physics.

Career

2000-2024

He worked in various managerial positions at enterprises of the mining and metallurgical industry and mechanical engineering. In particular, he was the First Deputy General Director for Economics and Finance of Student Joint Stock Mining Company OJSC, a director in the Lipetsk branch of Rumelko LLC and the General Director of Nizhneserginsky Metalware and Metallurgical Plant CJSC.

In December 2021, Samsikov took over as general director of the Oka shipyard, and since the summer of 2024 he served as general director of the shipbuilding assets of the Norebo group in the Leningrad Region (Otradnoye Shipbuilding Plant LLC and Neva-Stapel LLC). He worked at the corporate center of Emperium LLC in Moscow.

2025: Appointment as CEO of Russian electric ship manufacturer Emerium

On May 21, 2025, it became known that Denis Samsikov was appointed to the post of general director of the Russian electric ship manufacturer Emerium (Emperium LLC), part of the Sitronics Group. In this post, he replaced Denis Voitkevich, who headed the shipyard since July 2024.

According to the Kommersant newspaper, referring to information received from the Emperium company, the change of CEO is associated with the strategic development of the group in new segments of advanced shipbuilding, scaling production and strengthening the team. In particular, Samsikov will have to engage in the development of engineering and design competencies, as well as strengthen the company's position in the field of innovative shipbuilding. He will be responsible for increasing production capacity and other initiatives. The company's plans include an increase in production by 25% - up to 20 full-cycle ships per year (at the beginning of 2025, the capacity of the Emerium shipyard is no more than 16 ships per year).[1]
