Biography
In 1994, Sergey Bezbogov graduated from the Faculty of Management and Applied Mathematics of the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology. In 1996 he received a financial education at the Financial Academy under the Government of the Russian Federation with a degree in Banking.
He began his career in interbank payments and participated in a project to create an interbank clearing house.
2000: Head of Department at SAS Institute
From 2000 to 2005, Bezbogov headed the Department of Consulting and Software Implementation at the SAS Institute, specializing in Business Intelligence software.
He headed the operational center of the Moscow branch of Experian and was responsible for the provision of services and the implementation of projects in Russia and the CIS countries. The company specializes in providing IT services, primarily to financial customers.
2013: Director of Department at Sberbank
In 2013, he was appointed Director of the Department of Standards, Planning and Control of IT of Sberbank, and since 2017 he worked at Gazprombank.
2019: Director of IT at VTB
In October 2019, he headed the Department of Organization and IT Management at VTB.
