Biography

Sergey Parshikov specializes in the development of fintech services and mass IT products. Now he heads the department for the development of digital channels of legal entities of Alfa-Bank. Prior to that, he led the launch of Yandex products, VK (formerly Mail.ru Group) and developed digital b2b services in Sberbank. He began his career by founding his own digital agency XQ Design.

He invented and successfully launched the popular Yandex Disk service in Russia, and then in Turkey. VK (formerly Mail.ru Group) was responsible for the development of mail services and their launch on the international market under the myMail brand.

Significantly expanded the functionality of traditional online banking by integrating fintech partner services using the white-label model and deep API integration in the SberBank Business Online (SBBOL) channel.

He sold sales tools and a marketplace of non-financial products in an Internet bank, significantly increasing the popularity of non-banking services. The first in the Russian fintech applied the principles and approaches of bigtech companies in building API (SberBusiness­API) for the banking industry. Introduced single sign on seamless login technology for partner services, creating the first bank ID in Russia. The technology subsequently turned into two products: SberBusiness ID, an authorization service for legal entities, and Sber ID, a free service for logging into sites and applications for individuals.

Launched new payment tools for instant settlements between legal entities and the ability to work according to the subscription model. This provided a steady threefold annual growth in revenue from services over three years. This approach was implemented in the banking industry for the first time and influenced the transformation of the entire banking industry in Russia, now this is the industry standard. In total, Sergey Parshikov launched 42 non-banking services and laid the foundation for the b2b-ecosystem of Sberbank.

Since 2020, he has been leading the development of digital channels (web, mobile, API) for legal entities of Alfa-Bank. Brought the web and mobile bank to the first places in the Markswebb rating. Launched Alfa ID and advanced API, which won the FINAWARD Award in 2023.
