Anton Shalaev was born in 1978 in Moscow.
Education
In 2000 with honors graduated from the Moscow state aviation institute of S. Ordzhonikidze, and in 2009 was trained according to the program MBA, European School of Management and Technology (Berlin).
Biography
2004-2016
During the period from 2004 to 2016 worked at executive positions in a number of the organizations for the directions of certification and standardization, including in Federal State Unitary Enterprise Research Institute of Standardization and Unification and Federal State Unitary Enterprise The All-Russian Research Institute of Standardization and Certification in Mechanical Engineering. Was also the vice-chairman of technical committee on standardization No. 323 Aircraft equipment, having become in 2015 the winner of competition "The aircraft manufacturer of year - 2015" for a contribution to development of the regulatory base in aircraft and aircraft industry.
2020: Appointment as the head of Rosstandart
On December 28, 2020 the prime minister Mikhail Mishustin signed the order about Anton Shalaev's appointment to a position of the head of Federal Agency for Technical Regulation of Metrology (Rosstandart). It succeeded Alexey Abramov who resigned authority at own will.
According to the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers before heading Rosstandart Anton Shalaev, worked there at the deputy administrator's position, being responsible for questions of implementation of state policy in the field of standardization, the organizations of maintaining the unified register of the registered systems of voluntary certification, ensuring functioning of the unified information system on technical regulation and also development of the international cooperation.
Rosstandart noted that Anton Shalaev is an author more than 30 publications in the field of standardization, certification and quality management. From 2016 to 2018, and since 2020 - the member of Technical Managing Bureau of International Organization for Standardization (TMB ISO).[1]
