Biography
Shalimov Sergey Ivanovich was born in 1956 in the village of Troitsk of the Oryol district of the Oryol region. Professor of Academy of security concerns, defense and law and order graduated from the Kiev highest tank engineering school, Military academy of armored troops, military academy of the General Staff of Russian Armed Forces.
Began military service in 1977 the deputy commander of a repair company of a motorized rifle regiment of a motorized rifle division of Guards army of the Transcaucasian military district. Then served as the chief of armored service of this regiment, the deputy commander for arms. In the early nineties – in the Western group of troops the chief of armored service of management of arms, then in the North Caucasian Federal District and at a position of the deputy commander of OGV in the Chechen republic.
In the late nineties - the beginning of two-thousand years Sergey Ivanovich Shalimov served in Volga, then in the Volga-Ural Military District as the chief of staff of management of arms, the first deputy chief of arms.
Since 2003 before transfer to the reserve served in the Head autoarmoured department of the Russian Defense Ministry, the head of department of orders. After transfer to the reserve directed the Barnaultransmash enterprise.
The managing director of JSC AMZ Sergey Ivanovich Shalimov is the major general of a stock. It is dismissed from the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation in 2008.
He is married, two children.
