Biography
Vladimir was born on August 24, 1970.
He graduated from the Rostov Higher Military Command and Engineering School of Missile Forces with a degree in Aircraft Control Systems.
In 1996, he headed the management of the local IT company Service Technology.
In 1998, he was appointed CEO of ICS South.
In 2006, he took the position of vice president for regional development of the ICS group.
In August 2013, the Asteros Group announced the appointment of Vladimir Shelepov as Director for Strategic Development of Integrated Security and Anti-Terrorist Protection. The main tasks of the top manager include strengthening Asteros's competitive positions in the field of security, engineering and IT infrastructure, the development of new industry competencies and the expansion of the product portfolio.
The creation of a new staff unit in the Asteros structure, as well as the formation of the practice of integrated security and anti-terrorist protection systems, are the next steps of the group to implement a long-term strategy aimed at industrial leadership in the engineering and IT infrastructure market.
In this position, Vladimir Shelepov was responsible for the development of the group's business in the field of integrated security systems (KSB), paying special attention to sports and cultural and entertainment facilities. The functions of the top manager also included managing the development of new products and services of the company, building relationships with key vendors and customers, and controlling the entire sales cycle.
The main focus was on the implementation of an integrated approach to ensuring the safety of facilities at all stages of their design, construction and operation - from risk analysis and threat modeling to the modernization of existing systems or their disposal. To do this, it was planned to expand the practice of the KSB by involving process engineers, system architects and safety consultants.
Vladimir Shelepov, who has been involved in the Sochi 2014 project for about 6 years, is well known in the Russian IT market. He has many years of experience managing security projects at major infrastructure facilities. Under his leadership, concepts and design documentation on the integrated safety of the Olympic Park and the Main Media Center in Sochi were developed. On account of Vladimir, projects of the Sochi Formula 1 highway, Hyatt hotel complexes in Vladivostok, Sochi and Rostov-on-Don, Adventure Park in the Imereti lowland, etc.
The key projects of Asteros, to the implementation of which Shelepov primarily joined, were the reconstruction and integrated development of the territory of the Moscow Dynamo stadium and the adjacent commercial zone, as well as the creation of the infrastructure of the Sochi Olympic Village.
Vladimir Shelepov is a co-author of a book on the design and construction of sports facilities - "Football Stadiums," presented by the Russian Association of Sports Facilities in May 2013.

Vladimir Shelepov has more than 20 years of experience in the successful implementation of projects in the field of protecting critical infrastructure facilities throughout Russia, as well as extensive experience in ensuring the safety of places of mass stay of people.
Under his leadership, projects were implemented to ensure the security of the XXII Winter Olympic Games in Sochi 2014 and the FIFA™ World Cup in Russia 2018, which were recognized by the international community as the safest in the history of mass events.
Vladimir's achievements were marked by dozens of thanks and honorary diplomas, including thanks to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the FSB and the FSO, as well as the honorary medal "Construction Glory."
