Biography

Alexander Shestakov graduated from the Institute of Cryptography, Communications and Informatics of the Academy of the FSB of Russia, receiving the specialty of radio engineer.

From 1996 to 1999 he served in the Armed Forces.

From 1999 to 2007 he worked at INPAS, where he went from a programmer to the head of the technical department.

From 2007 to 2009, he worked at PST Company as CEO.

In 2010, he served as Managing Director at S&T Russia.

In 2011, he worked as a project director at Sberbank of Russia.

In the period from 2011 to 2012 worked at the Universal Electronic Card (UEC) as vice president.

2013-2016: Work at Uralsib

In 2013, he became Deputy Executive Director for Information Technology at Bank Uralsib. And in 2014, Alexander Shestakov was appointed vice president, chief executive officer for information technology. He oversaw the implementation of strategic planning and management of information technologies, the structuring and systematization of the bank's IT activities, the development and maintenance of all information systems and IT infrastructure of the bank.

In November 2016, he left Bank Uralsib.

2017-2019: Work at OTP Bank

From 2017 to 2019, he worked at OTP Bank as Director of the Banking Technology Center. Under the leadership of Alexander Shestakov, the bank introduced the process of managing changes in IT resources, rebuilt the organizational structure: the transition from a functional structure to the structure of teams and competence centers was carried out in order to take advantage of DevOps.

2019: Head of Project Office at RGS Bank

In 2019, he headed the project office at RGS Bank. Its main achievements: the methodology for managing and monitoring the implementation of projects was developed and approved. A management team was assembled from scratch, teams were formed for each project.

2021: Director of the IT Department "Consent"

In August 2021, Alexander Shestakov was appointed director of the information technology department of the Soglasie insurance company. The company said that in this position he will be responsible for creating an effective management system for the activities of the information technology department, increasing productivity, speed and quality in the implementation of IT products, introducing a business-oriented approach, as well as the formation, development and preservation of internal competencies in the department.

Before Alexander Shestakov, the Department of Information Technology in "Consent" was headed by Sergei Kovalev. In "Consent" they found it difficult to say where he went to work.

2022: General Director of "Consent of Technology"

The insurance company "Consent" on July 5, 2022 informed TAdviser about the creation of a subsidiary IT structure "Consent Technology."
