Evgeny Shestopalov graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Vladivostok State Medical University (by October 2023 it is called the Pacific State Medical University).

Career

2017

In 2017, following the results of the competition, Yevgeny Shestopalov was appointed to the post of chief physician of the Vladivostok Clinical Hospital No. 1. Prior to that, he was the head of the intensive care unit for patients with acute cerebrovascular accident (ICU ONMK), which is part of the structure of the primary vascular department of KGBUZ "VKB No. 1."

2023: Appointment as Minister of Health of Primorsky Krai

On October 23, 2023, it became known about the appointment of Yevgeny Shestopalov as the new head of the Ministry of Health of the Primorsky Territory. Prior to that, he worked as the chief physician of the Vladivostok Clinical Hospital No. 1.

Shestopalov headed the Primorsky Ministry of Health instead of Anastasia Khudchenko, who headed the department since 2020. She will remain Deputy Prime Minister and will oversee health, labor and social policy as Deputy Prime Minister of Primorsky Krai, Governor of Primorye Oleg Kozhemyako said on October 23, 2023 during a weekly planning meeting with heads of regional authorities and heads of municipalities. As Kozhemyako noted, when resolving issues of personnel changes, the results of five years of work of all deputy chairmen of the regional government, departments, agencies and ministries were analyzed.

By October 23, 2023, little information about Yevgeny Shestopalov was published in open sources. It is known that he is a candidate of medical sciences, has a specialization "anesthesiologist-resuscitator."^[1]
