Was born in the village of Atamanovskaya of the Pavlovsk district of Krasnodar Krai.

1971 - on the job, Rostov institute of agricultural mechanical engineering (nowadays Don state technical university).

Career

1960 - fitter, Rostov helicopter plant

1964 - the fitter, the riveting assembler, the master, the general foreman, the released chairman of shop committee, the Rostov helicopter plant

1982 - deputy CEO, the First Deputy CEO for management of finance, JSC Rostvertol

2000 - CEO of JSC Rostvertol

In June, 2014 held a post of the Chairman of the board of directors of JSC Rostvertol.

Achievements

The academy of transport of Russia appropriated an academic degree of the doctor of transport and elected the full member.

Donskoy the state technical university appropriated degree of the honourable doctor.

Full member of Academy of studying of problems of national security and corresponding member of the Russian engineering academy.

Family

Married. Two children.

The wife, Valentina Aleksandrovna, remained Boris Nikolaevich's support for nearly 50 years, to his last breath.

The son, Yury Slyusar is a Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. Since 1/13/2015 it is appointed the president of United Aircraft Corporation.
