2024: Wowfit Company Share Purchase
In mid-August 2024, it became known that Denis Smetnev, co-founder of the Skyeng educational platform, increased his participation in the fitness industry by acquiring a stake in the Russian online personal training service Wowfit. 2023: Leaving SkyEng
One of the founders of Skyeng Denis Smetnev left the operational management of the business. At the same time, he remained a shareholder of the company, his share (not disclosed) in the service did not change. This became known in mid-June 2023.
According to Forbes, Denis Smetnev served as commercial director and was responsible for the international development of Skyeng. The company told the publication that the transaction was non-financial.
After leaving Skyeng, the entrepreneur will focus on developing a third-party project - the marketing agency uForce, which launched as a Skyeng business unit. Since 2021, the project is not part of the company.
According to the publication, uForce helps companies attract funding, find customers, specialists, launch marketing and advertising campaigns, etc. The peculiarity of the project is that the company hires only students and graduates of universities in the team.
Denis Smetnev invested about $100 thousand of personal funds in uForce. At the end of 2022, uForce's revenue reached 23 million. rubles The project cooperates with more than 100 clients, including an HR platform for developers, a Skipp platform for teaching children English Novakid and others.
In May 2023, uForce worked with 50 customers. In total, the project has cooperation with more than 100 companies. Among them are the women's reproductive health tracker app Flo, the English learning platform for children Novakid and others. By the end of 2023, the team hopes to increase its annual revenue to 50 million rubles.

2025: Purchase of a share in the Choys application
The Russian application for online shopping "Chois" attracted investments from the co-founder of the online school Skyeng Denis Smetnev and the general director of the service for event organizers Timepad Varvara Semenikhina.
