Creation of the ensemble "Baroque soloists"

Andrei Spiridonov in 1997 created the ensemble "Baroque Soloists," the purpose of which is to create historically oriented musical programs based on practical cultural studies (the method discovered by A. Piridonov), which are based on the repertoire performed in Russia in the 18th - early 19th centuries. To perform this repertoire A. Spiridonov did a huge scientific work on finding and restoring musical works of this period. The method of practical cultural studies combines the philosophical, historical and artistic context of musical compositions. Based on this repertoire, cycles of historical short story concerts were created, which took place in the chamber hall of the Moscow Philharmonic and the Great Hall of the Moscow Conservatory.

These cycles are also recorded on CD. Among them:

  • "1812 Heroes and Contemporaries,"
  • "Musical Chronicle of the Russian Court,"
  • "The Origins of Russian Romanticism."
  • "Vivaldi. Russian trace. "
  • "Sebastianon. Grandsons of I. S. Bach in Russia "and others.

At the Moscow Sheremetyevo Theater in Ostankino, A. Piridonov and the ensemble "Baroque Soloists" performed authentic performances of operas by J.-J. Russo "The Village Sorcerer" and J. Pergolesi "Livietta and Tracolo."
